League Rules
Hoop Therapy Rx reserves the right to enforce all league rules and policies to maintain a safe, organized, and competitive environment for all teams and participants.

League Fees
All league fees must be paid in full by the final registration deadline set by Hoop Therapy Rx. Teams that have not paid in full by the deadline will not be allowed to participate, with no exceptions.
Uniform Requirements

No Dunking
No dunking is allowed at any time unless specifically approved by league management. Any violation will result in a bench technical foul, and the basket will not count.
Game Starts / Game Periods / Forfeits
Each game will begin at its scheduled time. The game clock will start on time regardless of whether both teams are fully present.
If the previous game runs late, two minutes will be placed on the clock prior to the start of the next game.
The first ten minutes of the first half will serve as the official grace period. If a team is not ready to play by the end of that grace period, the game will be ruled a forfeit.
Any team that forfeits will be charged a $90 forfeit fee, which must be paid prior to the next scheduled game. Any team with two unpaid forfeits will be removed from the league.
Conducts And Sportsmanship
There will be no fighting, abusive language, threatening behavior, or discourteous conduct toward officials, staff, spectators, players, or league representatives.
Any violation may result in penalties including:
• technical fouls
• player ejection
• suspension
• team removal
• loss of playoff eligibility
Hoop Therapy Rx reserves the right to discipline players or teams on an individual basis when behavior becomes disruptive, unsafe, or harmful to the league environment.

Technical Fouls / Ejections
Any player receiving a technical foul must sit out for two minutes. The two-minute penalty begins once the ball is put back into play after the technical foul is assessed.
A player who receives two technical fouls in the same game will be:
• immediately ejected from the gym
• suspended for the next scheduled game
An ejected player must leave the playing area and remain out of sight of officials. Any ejected player who refuses to leave the gym will receive an additional one-game suspension.
Team Rosters & Player Eligibility
Each team may carry a minimum of six (6) players and a maximum of twelve (12) players on their official roster.

Playoff Eligibility
To be eligible for playoffs, players must participate in a minimum of four (4) regular season games.

Clock Rules
The game clock will run continuously during the first half.
In the second half, the clock will stop during the last two minutes unless one team is ahead by 15 points or more, in which case the clock will continue to run.
In the final minute, the clock will continue to run on made baskets.
Fouls / Bonus / Fouling Out
• At seven team fouls, the opposing team will shoot one-and-one.
• At ten team fouls, the opposing team will shoot the double bonus.
• Any player who commits six personal fouls will foul out of the game.
Time Outs
Each team will receive three timeouts per game.
If unused in the first half, only two timeouts may carry over into the second half.
Over Times
Overtime will be two minutes.
The clock will stop during the last minute of overtime.
Each team will receive one timeout for the first overtime only. No additional timeouts will be awarded after the first overtime, and unused timeouts do not carry over.
Tie Breakers
League standings tiebreakers will be determined in the following order:
a. Head-to-head result
b. Point differential
c. Points scored
d. Points allowed
