PRIZE INFORMATION

CHAMPIONSHIP PRIZE
The Hoop Therapy Rx Adult Men’s Summer League Championship Team will receive a $5,000 Cash Prize, Championship Trophy, and Team Photo with sponsors.
PRIZE DISTRIBUTION
The $5,000 Championship Prize will be awarded to the Team Captain only
Payment will be sent electronically via Zelle, Venmo, Apple Pay, or other approved digital payment methods
No cash payments will be made onsite
Hoop Therapy Rx will not be responsible for distributing prize money among team members once payment is issued to the Team Captain
All league decisions regarding prize eligibility and distribution are final.
PRIZE ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for the championship prize:
Players must be listed on the official team roster
Players must meet playoff eligibility requirements
Teams must be in good standing with league rules and fees
Teams must not have outstanding balances or disciplinary violations

LEAGUE AUTHORITY
Hoop Therapy Rx reserves the right to:
Verify player eligibility
Enforce league rules
Adjust prize distribution if violations occur
Withhold prize until all league requirements are satisfied
OFFICIAL LEAGUE RULES & HOUSE POLICIES
Hoop Therapy Rx reserves the right to enforce all league rules and policies to maintain a safe, organized, and competitive environment for all teams and participants.
League Fees
All league fees must be paid in full by the final registration deadline set by Hoop Therapy Rx. Teams that have not paid in full by the deadline will not be allowed to participate, with no exceptions
Uniform Requirements
All players must wear an official team uniform during games. Uniforms must include a jersey with a visible, non-duplicate number.
Because the league has sponsors, official team uniforms must be worn during all games with no exceptions.
All jewelry must be removed. Wedding/religious bands may be exempted, but must be covered with athletic tape.
Any player not in proper uniform may be assessed penalties by league officials. Penalties may include:
a technical foul
applicable league fees
and/or a 10-point technical penalty assessed to that player’s team
Hoop Therapy Rx reserves the right to enforce this rule at its discretion to protect league branding, sponsorship obligations, and game professionalism.
Players may not wear duplicate jersey numbers on the same team.
No Dunking
No dunking is allowed at any time unless specifically approved by league management. Any violation will result in a bench technical foul, and the basket will not count.
Game Starts / Game Periods / Forfeits
Each game will begin at its scheduled time. The game clock will start on time regardless of whether both teams are fully present.
If the previous game runs late, two minutes will be placed on the clock prior to the start of the next game.
The first ten minutes of the first half will serve as the official grace period. If a team is not ready to play by the end of that grace period, the game will be ruled a forfeit.
Any team that forfeits will be charged a $90 forfeit fee, which must be paid prior to the next scheduled game. Any team with two unpaid forfeits will be removed from the league.
Conducts And Sportsmanship
There will be no fighting, abusive language, threatening behavior, or discourteous conduct toward officials, staff, spectators, players, or league representatives.
Any violation may result in penalties including:
technical fouls
player ejection
suspension
team removal
loss of playoff eligibility
Hoop Therapy Rx reserves the right to discipline players or teams on an individual basis when behavior becomes disruptive, unsafe, or harmful to the league environment.


Technical Fouls / Ejections
Any player receiving a technical foul must sit out for two minutes. The two-minute penalty begins once the ball is put back into play after the technical foul is assessed.
A player who receives two technical fouls in the same game will be:
immediately ejected from the gym
suspended for the next scheduled game
An ejected player must leave the playing area and remain out of sight of officials. Any ejected player who refuses to leave the gym will receive an additional one-game suspension.
Team Rosters & Player Eligibility
Each team may carry a minimum of six (6) players and a maximum of twelve (12) players on their official roster.
Official team rosters must be submitted to the scorekeeper at each team’s first scheduled game. Team captains will receive roster forms along with the full league schedule prior to the start of league play.
All rosters must be completed accurately. Each player must sign the waiver and complete the roster form. Rosters that are incomplete or submitted incorrectly must be corrected and resubmitted before players are eligible to participate.
Players may be added to a roster through Week Five (5) of the regular season, which also represents the midpoint of the season. Any player added during the season must report to the scorekeeper prior to game time and sign the original team roster, which will be kept at the gymnasium by the scorekeeper.
Players may not play on multiple teams within the same division, night, or gym.
The first team listed on the schedule will be designated as the home team and must wear white or light-colored jerseys. The second team listed will be designated as the away team and must wear dark-colored jerseys.
Playoff Eligibility
To be eligible for playoffs, players must participate in a minimum of four (4) regular season games.
Clock Rules
The game clock will run continuously during the first half.
In the second half, the clock will stop during the last two minutes unless one team is ahead by 15 points or more, in which case the clock will continue to run.
In the final minute, the clock will continue to run on made baskets.
Fouls / Bonus / Fouling Out
At seven team fouls, the opposing team will shoot one-and-one.
At ten team fouls, the opposing team will shoot the double bonus.
Any player who commits six personal fouls will foul out of the game.
TimeOuts
Each team will receive three timeouts per game.
If unused in the first half, only two timeouts may carry over into the second half.
OverTimes
Overtime will be two minutes.
The clock will stop during the last minute of overtime.
Each team will receive one timeout for the first overtime only. No additional timeouts will be awarded after the first overtime, and unused timeouts do not carry over.
TieBreakers
League standings tiebreakers will be determined in the following order:
a. Head-to-head result
b. Point differential
c. Points scored
d. Points allowed
Governing Rules
Official NCAA basketball rules will apply except where modified by these local league rules and house policies.
In any conflict between NCAA rules and Hoop Therapy Rx local rules, Hoop Therapy Rx league rules will govern.

OFFICIAL HOUSE POLICIES
Hoop Therapy Rx reserves the right to enforce all league rules and policies to maintain a safe, organized, and competitive environment for all teams and participants.
ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY
The following violations are subject to immediate discipline:
a. Any player who starts a fight will be ejected from the league, and that player’s team will also be ineligible for the playoffs.
b. Any player who physically threatens a referee will be ejected from the league.
c. Any player who verbally threatens a referee will be suspended.
d. Any player who receives two technical fouls in one game will be removed from the gym and suspended for one game.
e. Any player found playing under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance will receive at minimum a one-game suspension and may face additional discipline.
REFUND POLICY
Refunds may be issued prior to the standard registration.
No refunds will be issued after the early bird registration do to league fees and facility costs
No refunds will be issued due to:
• natural disasters
• fires
• city force reductions
• pandemics
• power outages
• facility closures
• acts of God
• or other circumstances outside the league’s control
COMPLAINTS PROTESTS & DISPUTES
Any complaint, issue, or protest must be submitted by the team’s designated captain via email to Hoop Therapy Rx.
Complaints made by non-captains may be disregarded.
All league decisions regarding discipline, eligibility, forfeits, protests, or rule interpretation are final.
UNIFORM SPONSORSHIP RULE
Because Hoop Therapy Rx league uniforms include sponsor branding, all players are required to wear the assigned league jersey and shorts during game play. No exceptions will be permitted without prior league approval Any player not in proper uniform may be ruled ineligible to participate until properly dressed and/or may result in a technical foul assessed to the team.
MEDIA & LIKENESS POLICY
By participating in the Hoop Therapy Rx Adult Men’s Basketball League, all players, coaches, and team personnel acknowledge and agree that Hoop Therapy Rx and its partners may photograph, video record, and capture audio during league games, events, and related activities.
Hoop Therapy Rx reserves the right to use participant names, images, likenesses, and voices for purposes including but not limited to:
• Social media content
• Website content
• Marketing and promotional materials
• Highlight videos
• Advertising
• Sponsor promotions
• League promotions
Participation in the league constitutes consent for the use of such media. No additional permission or compensation will be provided for the use of any media content.
All photos, videos, and recorded content become the property of Hoop Therapy Rx and may be used indefinitely and may be edited, modified, or distributed at the discretion of Hoop Therapy Rx LLC.
By participating in the league, players waive any claims against Hoop Therapy Rx related to the use of photos, videos, or other media captured during league events. Players who do not wish to appear in media content must notify Hoop Therapy Rx in writing prior to the start of league play. While reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate such requests, Hoop Therapy Rx cannot guarantee that individuals will not appear in background or incidental footage.
Hoop Therapy Rx reserves the right to use participant names, images, likenesses, and voices for purposes including but not limited to:
LIABILITY REQUIREMENT
All players must:
• Sign waiver
• Sign media release
• Agree to rules
No participation without signed documents.
FINAL AUTHORITY
Hoop Therapy Rx reserves the right to:
• Modify rules
• Adjust schedules
• Resolve disputes
• Enforce discipline
All decisions are final.
